A friend suggests that is the only reason I would not have heard about the minor controversy surrounding a book of the month pick for the famous 'Oprah's Book Club'. Hi Eric, I have a feeling you may be able to answer a question that I have been wondering about for a while.
Some of the older members of my congregation wear the Scapulars(sp?)
(The two puches hanging down over the heart and back, with the medals carried on their person as well.) Do you know the responsibility or reasoning behind wearing one, that would be different then wearing a crucifix? Most of the information that I have found about it is just on proper usage.
